Ended up this weekend in Eugene, Oregon's Maury Jacobs Park. This was the coolest hang out in town this weekend, hands down. The weather was beautiful and the atmosphere enticing with more hugs going around than I have seen in a long time.
They were awesome and following the festivals good welcomings and spirit, I was loving it. So many great bands, These were the sweetest group of people to party with I have ever met.
My second night ended with an amazing gathering of musicians, and an incredible jam of music, dance and good times. The group was called the Normal Bean Band featuring Tom Constanten (Grateful Dead) & cecil P-nut Daniels ( WideSpread Panic).
They are still carrying on down there at the park, and probably til' sun sets again. But it was awesome. You should have been there, man...
